I was randomly watching CNN last night and came across the program called "World untold stories"

it was about sex workers in vietnam and other 3rd world countries

ive learnt quite a lot about this in my INT class in uni

and truly they are being exploited as their wages are really low

im very blessed to be where i am right now; where my parents do not need to sell me off to become a sex worker to earn a living for everyone

the program focused on one of the girls life and it was just heartbreaking to know that IS life in some places.

This specific girl got sold to do sex work by the age of 10!

They sell them to big mafias and what not and this girl got put to work at a karaoke bar.

At this karaoke bar she has to accompany her customers..drink and sing with them. So she began drinking by the age of 10.

The reporter (who was an undercover sex worker cop?) said that she drinks 10 beers when he is only finishing his 2nd glass! and apparently they are forced to drink because the customers have to pay for the girls drinks and so they drink more so that the karaoke place makes more money! it is absurd.

The reporter dude asks the girl if she does any other services and she told him

Massage - $6 and all the way to sex was - $50

Anyway most of these sex workers who happen to be very underage fall into obvious depression and replaces reality with drugs.

This particular girl whom they documented was reported dead at 17 years of age due to liver failure since she drinks excessive amounts everyday from such a young age and also because she started smoking meth or ICE which eventually led to her death.

how SAD is that?!?!

its really really sad if you look at the reality of it

and its not just some story they pulled outta their pocket;

its very real today...

we may not see it in front of our eyes but millions are being exploited in these 3rd world countries

sigh

i dont know why i feel so dam emo after watching it

i just cant accept that her life ended at 17

its as if she didnt even live

having no CHOICE but to be SOLD to some brothel

and selling her undeveloped body to old gross mofcking pedos!!

and getting paid like shit to support her family which she probably doesnt get much back in return!
